Support of Full-Time Missionaries

At Healing Church, we are committed to supporting Full-Time Missionaries who are engaged in Apostolic Ministry. This commitment is rooted in our desire to extend the reach of the Gospel to unchurched and unsaved people groups, following the biblical model of missionary work pioneered by the apostles.

The Apostle Paul, a tireless missionary, often spoke of the support he received from local churches which enabled him to travel and plant new communities of faith. "And when I was with you and needed something, I was not a burden to anyone, for the brothers who came from Macedonia supplied what I needed. I have kept myself from being a burden to you in any way, and will continue to do so." (2 Corinthians 11:9) This support was crucial for his ministry and the spread of the Gospel.

Similarly, the early church also supported Peter in his travels and missionary efforts. This collective support by the early Christians reflects a strong commitment to advancing the ministry entrusted to them by the Lord.

Moreover, Jesus Himself affirmed the principle that those who dedicate their lives to preaching the Gospel should receive their living from it: "In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel." (1 Corinthians 9:14) This directive underlines the legitimacy and necessity of supporting those who are called to full-time missionary work.

Our dedication to supporting full-time missionaries is not merely a matter of financial assistance; it is a commitment to fulfilling the Great Commission and ensuring that the life-changing message of the Gospel reaches every corner of the earth. By providing for these missionaries, we participate in their work and share in their efforts to establish new communities of faith among those who have never heard the message of Christ.

At Healing Church, we invite our members to join in this vital aspect of our ministry, understanding that through their generosity, the Gospel is preached, lives are transformed, and new churches are born.
