Organic Multiplication
At Healing Church, we are deeply committed to the organic multiplication of micro churches as a core aspect of our mission. We believe in nurturing each group until it grows in size and spiritual maturity, at which point we encourage members to branch out and form new groups. This model reflects the New Testament church's dynamic and expansive nature.
"And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." (Acts 2:47) This passage highlights the early church's continual growth, which we seek to emulate through the multiplication of micro churches. By doing so, we extend Christ's transformative power to more communities.
Our desire is for these new groups to be formed while maintaining connections with the original group, fostering a long-term community of faith that supports and strengthens one another. "Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts," (Acts 2:46) serves as a model for how our micro churches operate—rooted in mutual care, shared life, and ongoing fellowship.
Encouraging members of a mature micro church to start new groups allows us to replicate a healthy, biblical model of church growth. As Paul encouraged Timothy, so we encourage our leaders: "And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others." (2 Timothy 2:2) This scripture underlines the importance of discipleship and the transmission of faith through generations of believers.
By embracing the concept of organic multiplication, Healing Church strives to be a vibrant, growing community where every believer is empowered to lead and nurture their own group in due time. This approach not only increases our reach but also strengthens the individual and collective faith of our members.
We invite you to be part of this exciting and fulfilling journey, as we continue to spread the Gospel and make disciples across neighborhoods and beyond, following the biblical blueprint for church growth and community.
